Summary: Excellent resource
Review: I'm not sure what motivated the previous review. This is an excellent work, written at a level so laypeople can understand the intricate issues and make use of the information. Hindson writes at a very scholarly level when it is called for (as in _Isaiah's Immanuel_ or _The Philistines and the Old Testament_). This commentary is a solid choice for the pastor looking to put together a sermon or Bible study without getting lost in the detail of a more academically-focused work. Well organized, with just the right amount of detail for its purpose.

If you are looking for a scholarly commentary from the same general perspective (dispensational premillenialism), try Robert L. Thomas or John F. Walvoord.
