Review: As he does in many of his other works, Dr. DeHaan lays out a very readable yet inciteful tome that will make one think more deeply about many of the events outlined in the book of Acts. Especially instructive is the discussion on the gift of tongues and of the respective roles of Peter and Paul in the dispensation of the gospel first to the Jews, then the Samaritans and finally to the Gentiles. Old Testament scripture and culture are profusely referenced as underlying support for these New Testament events.
