Summary: Removing Scales
Review: After reading one of the reviews from this website; yes, in fact, I do believe that there was an Adam & Eve, a talking Serpent, and that Isaiah 7:14 predicts the coming of Jesus Christ, our Savior! And I do believe that this book has indeed revealed a basal truth that psychology is man-made, as man understands the soul, mind, etc. I also believe that through the power of Jesus Christ people are miraculously saved and forgiven of all of their sins and that healing begins the minute we say, "yes," to Him. I have worked as a social worker for mental health and have just recently left the field...this book just 'happened' to arrive at our church! The book is very general and is good for a basic understanding of the detrimental lies of psychology and how it is shaping a world of 'zombied-out' folks with absolutely no hope. True healing does come from the Lord and prayer does absolutely change lives. But, this can only be witnessed once you are born-again. Otherwise, the Bible sounds awful silly and simple-minded. The fact is, regardless of it sounding weird as a non-believer, the truth is the Truth and it does set you free. I have witnessed this in my own life as well. Thanks and God bless.

Summary: One untruth mixed in with 9 truths spoils the whole.
Review: Psychology Debunked exposes the many rotten spots in modern psychology's ever shifting dogma. Taking into account that suicide rears its ugly eternal head in the psychological profession in the top 5%, along with the fact that the purported "cure rate" given by its professional members are at below Russian roulette rates. I strongly recommend this book. It has the innate ability to reduce the seemingly complex into heart confirmed truths to guide the reader thru the near literal mental minefield that "Professional Psychology" has evolved into. You, your loved ones and your patients (where applicable) deserve the truth shared in this book.

Summary: Some good, some awful
Review: Some of the authors' criticisms of psychology are indeed reasonable.....BUT...in the end they end up throwing the baby out with the bathwater. The authors make it sound like there is no objective scientific evidence for anything that psychology and psychiatry say and that it all rests upon the subjective musings of mental health professionals. I guess they haven't heard of the amazing things we are starting to learn about the brain with techniques like P.E.T. scans. The analogy of expecting the same diagnostic process with an assessment of an ankle injury and a behavioural disorder is like trying to compare the techniques of making a paper airlane with assembling a 747.The book as well is littered with anecdotes and quotes favourable to the authors' position. It is not a balanced review.
The author likes to harp on the over prescription of psychoactive medicine and YES they are at times inappropriately prescribed but to dismiss them totally out of hand is irresponsable. I have seen many people do fabulously well on medication and no they haven't suffered "permanent brain damage".
Ultimately this book is mostly fundamentalist religious propaganda. If you believe in a literal Adam and Eve,talking serpents and that Isaiah 7:14 foretells of Jesus then this book is for you.
If you want a serious review of the pros and cons of mental health issues look elsewhere.
And last but not least, I have seen many people pray for help with their emotional problems but unfortunately it usually works no better than placebo.

Summary: A MUST READ!!!
Review: This book exposes psychology for what it is. Which is basically bogus and it doesn't work. Psychology has you believing in your self and in the medication they give you. They totally overlook the one person who heals without hours of therapy and medication. This person is JESUS CHRIST, and the medication is feeding on GOD'S word daily. If you want your life changed and radically healed, this book will shed awesome light on the darkness in your heart and point you to JESUS CHRIST. Thank you Ryan and Lisa Bazler for this book.

Summary: Scripture-based book exposing the futility of psychology.
Review: This book says things that most books are scared to say. It reveals the truth behind the Psychology movement that has infiltrated our society. ...This book reveals the way of a life of hope, a life that is pleasing to God and full of his presence. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to know the truth....

Summary: Important for anyone thinking of getting counseling
Review: This book should be read by anyone who is a Christian and is thinking about or is already being counseled by the psychology industry, whether it has the label Christian attached or not.

The author has a whole chapter on whether a person should take medications for psychological "illnesses" and she explains what these medications do to people.

The author also explains her experiences in interviewing and working at "Christian" psychology centers. She tells about being told not to use her Bible to counsel people.

Many things that secular psychology has rejected are now common place in "Christian" psychology. I would recommend this book to anyone but especially Christians.
