Review: Hower profiles a wide array of historical figures, including presidents, generals and Indian chiefs. The profiles alone are enough to keep the reader interested -- and spurred on to further research. But Hower draws out interesting and valuable personal traits from each person -- traits worth applying to your life, whether or not you are a "leader".

While Hower's writing style is not highly polished, his conversational style is engaging. And the content is better treated by his less glossy approach.

Reading this book is time well-spent.
