Review: Elizabeth George examines a love letter from God, and about Him, taken from Psalm 23. She helps the Christian woman read in detail what it means to let our Lord Jesus be our Shepherd. Reminding us of what a real shepherd does in caring for the sheep, she has written something I can hang on to in times when I am not walking closely with my God and Savior. This book takes Psalm 23 phrase by phrase and tells in detail of God's character and how He doesn't want to let me wander because He is the ultimate Care-giver. She uses the Hebrew names of God translated from the Psalm and the background story of that name. Liz George reminds us that God lets us walk through valleys, but He is always present. Excellent. I hope to share it with other ladies in a Bible study soon.
