Summary: beautifully poetic at the same time as strong and convincing
Review: "Chana Weisberg objectively depicted the integral link between Torah and gender differences. The Feminine Soul is at once gentle and poetic, yet at the same time takes a strong and convincing stand to prove that Judaism values woman's integral contribution, role and mission in life. Highly relevant to anyone interested in a more profound understanding of the gender differences. I have read many books on this issue. None speak with such personal conviction, backed up by extensive research and source material to provide a brilliant, thorough and unapologetic analysis of women's role within Torah Judaism. A must read for every Jewish woman--and man."

Summary: an articulate exploration of the psyche of man and woman
Review: As someone with minimal background in Judaism, I found The Feminine Soul to be extremely informative and educational. It shatters modern day misconceptions that Judaism is degrading to women. I found Weisberg's depiction of the respective missions and psyche of man and woman fascinating, and her explanation of the special traditions of each, articulate and understandable. As a male reader, The Feminine Soul helps me appreciate and value Judaism's approach to women and their uniquely feminine soul powers. Thank you for helping me gain a deeper perspective on my traditions.

Summary: beautifully written musings on significant passages in life
Review: Interspersed throughout the book are the author's beautifully written musings on a variety of significant passsages in her own life, as a mother and wife, that women everywhere can relate to. Short entries from the lives and teachings of the Chasssidic masters add another interesting dimension to the book. Whether you are a student or a teacher, mother, wife, grandmother or a combination of all three, you are sure to gain new insights and understanding into womanhood. I for one hope that Mrs. Weisberg will continue to bring us more of her writing in the very near future.
