Summary: For all those seeking the full knowledge of the truth!
Review: This book is for all who are seeking the full knowledge of the truth. This book touches God's desire for all men to come to the full knowledge of the truth (1 Tim 2:4).

I appreciate very much Lee's approach to knowing the Word. The first thing he emphasizes is the essence of the Word. The essence of the Word is the Spirit. In order to receive the Spirit of the Word, we must pray over the Word (Eph 6:17-18). In a prayerful spirit, we receive the Word as the divine breath, as the spiritual milk, as the bread of life, as spirit and life and as Christ who is God Himself. Lee does not present a systematic theology, but rather he ministers the Spirit to give life following the apostles' pattern(2 Cor. 3:6). This does not mean that Lee's teaching is unclear or confused. No, his teaching is very clear! Each of the 5 points of the essence of God's Word is taken directly from the scriptures. Because of Lee's biblical approach in his teaching, I have been helped to see that the Bible is not a book of systematic categories but it is the divine speaking for the spiritual sustenance of God's people.

After impressing the reader concerning the essence of the Word, Lee then proceeds to explain the ways to understand the Word. In his usual balanced presentation, Lee leads the reader to receive the word spiritually, as well as learning to read the Bible literally in its context and interpreting the Bible with the Bible. The reader is also informed to learn from the teaching of the saints who have gone before -- the teaching of the Brethren, the inner life teaching, predestination, rejecting Arminianism and holding the balance of the truth concerning the kingdom reward and punishment. Finally, Lee covers some crucial points of the truths.

This book was definitely worth my time and effort. I think you will agree with me after reading it.
