Summary: An Inspiring "Picture" Book
Review: Presbyterians: A spiritual journey is a beautifully crafted book. The glossy pages full of interesting photographs combined with well written faith stories offer much to attract readers of many age groups.

This is not a book that you will read once and lay aside. It is a book that you can turn to again and again for comfort and inspiration. Regardless of where you are in your faith journey, you can find real life stories in this book that will speak, to your spirit, your heart, and your eyes as well as your mind. It's the story of teens and adults, farmers and physicians, clergy and lay recounting how they have experienced God acting in their lives.

Use this as a resource book in your church to inspire people to share their faith stories with each other. Use this book in a confirmation class where students are talking about committing themselves to faith-filled life. Use it as grist for the semon mill.

This book is one that can easily be dipped in and out of quickly making it ideal for placing on coffee tables at home, at church, or in waiting rooms. It's a warm friendly book that can capture a reader's interest for a long evening of cozy reading.

Looking for a gift idea for a person of faith? You can't go wrong with this book. Don't be disuaded by the price. This book is a bargin.

Summary: A comfortable way to share your faith
Review: This is quite a work! A book containing beautiful photos and wonderful stories of every day people sharing their stories of faith. Don't let the title fool you, one doesn't have to be Presbyterian to enjoy it. The author traveled across the United States interviewing people about their faith and how they are using their faith in service to others. Quite remarkable. To my knowledge there is no other book like this. Use the book as a guide for sharing your own faith journey. I was sitting in a hospital waiting room reading it when someone sat down beside me and asked to see it. Soon we were sharing our own faith stories. Thumbs up on this one!
