Summary: Excellent Read
Review: Out shopping for a gift for a friend's birthday, I came across this slim purple text. Perfect, I thought, for a gift. Upon opening it this book I fell in love with the simplicity and the gorgeous illustrations. Although colorful, this is not merely a coffee table book for display. It is a compact and uselful book. The information in this book is interesting, set off by the magical illustrations. However, the plants presented are not your everyday garden variety! An intersting and beautiful book. By the way, there was only one copy, so I bought it for myself...

Summary: Superficial but lovely. Is Roni Jay male or female?
Review: Photos and drawings are beautiful and varied. The substance is a bit thin spiritually but broad in period and spiritual tradition. It's frustrating to have no indication whether Jay is "Ronald" or "Veronica."
