Summary: A powerful book about prayer and spiritual healing
Review: I've read this book several times and it has a special place in my heart as one of the best books out there on prayer and spiritual healing.

It is a compilation of Mrs. Eddy's writings and includes "Christian Healing," which is a MUST READ for anyone interested in prayers that heal and restore.

Also included in Miscellaneous Writings is "Ways That are Vain" which is one of the best explanations of evil that I've ever seen in print.

If you just want to know more about Mary Baker Eddy, this book really gives an inside look at the woman's life and work. "Retrospection and Introspection" (in Misc. Writings) is Mrs. Eddy's autobiography and is a great read.

This is a THICK book - well over 1,000 pages and it is stuffed full of practical wisdom, good information and specific instruction on how to pray more effectively.

I highly recommend this book, as well as Eddy's more well known book "Science & Health, with Key to the Scriptures".
