Review: Cross presents a very erudite work on Christology during a period that is less well known than others. He is clearly knowledgeable about the material and explains it well. The book is not an easy read, but the material is not easy either. This work is not for the faint of heart--but plowing through it carefully will repay one's understanding of the relation between the two natures in Jesus Christ. Cross has presented the material well and we are indebted to him for this fine book.
