Review: I thoroughly enjoyed "The Essenes", a subject I have always been interested in reading about. I read many books on the Essenes, and this one offers a living, inner perspective. It is not an academic, dead work. The author found the living spirit of the Essenes, and reveals their rules of life, their organization, their principles. Deeply interesting.

Summary: A Rare , Gifted Writer
Review: Olivier Monitara's books are a source of many dicussions among Rosicrucians of different Orders . His writings are powerful ,
inspiring ,poetic . I feel his love , sincerity and his
Divine inner being . Because I consider him as my brother,
though he is a Johannite ,and want him to inspire all his readers, I'll make one negative comment about the book .
Olivier should be more careful in the future when writing about
real and symbolical people , dates ,and historical events .

Summary: Mr. Nice, Nice, but this isn't about Essenes
Review: There is not one single footnote or hint of historical documentation in the entire book, although the author leaves commentary on his own writing, as if it were chapter and verse. Anyone familiar with Josephus or Pliny the Elder's writings would find this silly and unresearched. The author has started his own "School of Light" church around 1991,and this book is an expression of his philosophy- not a history of the Essenes. If you are looking for words like "Cosmic Intelligence" and "Universal Brotherhood", and like to sit in the Lotus position in a tai-chi uniform chanting and burning incense, then this is the book for you. Otherwise, the author would have you believe that Jesus was an Essene based on his underwear (p.2,3& John 19:23). On the upside, if you buy the book, you can send off for a free "Cabalistic Oracle" method to "determine your destiny"(yipee)

Summary: Truth on what is to come
Review: What people don't know is that the Brotherhood and Sisterhood do trully exist even today. But the truth or stricked laws are to be abtanded and never looked back. The sisterhood that i know today are with angle and they are the light that most people don't know about. This book was ment for a guide to continue the tradition and respect over all nature which today in day very little people would know about. When GOD gave the commandments thy shall not Kill that means no hunting or if you are about love you won't kill. If you eat meat you are a conspiricy to murder. My beliefe is that if you eat meat, have a blessing with the family each meal like Jesus Christ did. Yes the bible did say to eat meat and very much do i respect that but the essense on the brother and sisterhood where vegitarians. Which made them PUREITY. Most people don't know about that and still to come they don't even have a clue. The book is good if you are wanting to change you life completely. Remenber that in Revelation John the Baptist will return in spirit, Chapter 4 I believe. That mean's that riencarnation does exist. The world is not prepared for what is to come to pass. But i want to give a very big thanks to Oliver for this book... I recommend to meditate and pray before reading this book. So that you will get the full truth what is to come... There is a big diffence between Meditating and praying keep that in mind. That is where i got stuck... Oliver is true most people might disagree but most people are not spritualy active but only book knowledge.... Keep that in mind... You have to remember that there are more law of Heaven, Law of the Universe, Law's of the Earth,Mother nature. I could be here for every and telling you about the law that one day will be meet, look at what the Holy Spirit has in his mouth LOOK good a herb and paper that represent his law's. Remember that in Daniel's he promised that GOD will send his Holy spirit. Who knows... Only time can tell. I'll give you a guess, an animal. I have ordered his other book but have not receive them yet but he has alot of intresting book like PEACE, New method and New Light and much more. This is a good start. When you have a chance to find what is the Essene Tree of Life you will find yourself. Remember that also Daniels speak of the Great tree that reach the sky's of heaven and bared fair fruits what do you think he ment. You have to amagine that we are talking about symbolic talking back in A.D My guess is that he is talking about the Aura. I could be wrong. So have fun in your spriritual Journey.....
