Review: Jennie Afman Dimkoff's book, More Night Whispers, brings the Bible to life in rich technicolor. Her skillful story-telling ability draws the reader into the pages of Scripture with a "You Are There" experience. Here, you will find dramatic details based on accurate research, yet a rich imagination that makes you feel as if you are reading even the most familiar Bible story for the first time. And the way Jennie relates Biblical events and characters with true, modern day stories helps the reader see how God is personally involved with each of our lives. I loved this second book in her series and savored every word of it, just like Jennie's first one. Practical helps at the end of each story give you a roadmap of encouragement, and leave you challenged and hungry to know God's heart even more. I suspect that both women AND men will find any part of the day a great time to reach for this "night-time" book. In Jennie's stories you will find a faithful God, a loving Savior, and Biblical characters who have listened to God's whispers, and have learned valuable lessons to share with you. In between these rich, divine encounters, it is easy to see an author who not only knows the Bible, but who reflects God's heart as well. Great book, Jennie!
