Summary: Compasionate insight for partners of survivors
Review: I have listened to adult survivors, and professionals who treat them refer to Ms. Sherlock's meditations for the survivor as a "voice that has been there." But I did not understand the depth of understanding until after reading the book I realized that I had been given the opportunity to get a peek of the world throught the eyes of a survivor. If you are a survivor, you will find these compasionate meditations a comforting day-to-day guide through the wilderness. However, if you are not a survivor, and you are in relationship with someone who is; you will find insight here even your partner cannot provide.

Summary: Help for survivors
Review: This is a lovely book. I think that anyone who makes it through childhood has had to deal with some abuse. Unfortunately, some deal with much more than others. Patti's book is a compassionate, thoughtful book that lights a light on what can be a dark path. I would highly recommend this book to those fighting to take back their lives. This book will help.
