Rating: Summary: Success isn't Anti-christ Review: I like success and motivation books. Every bookstore has a growing section by numerous authors on 'how to succeed in life'. It is a struggle sometime for people of faith to reconcile individual responsibility for success with belief, guidance, and dependency on a sovereign God. Often, the two ideas feel polar. William Cook does a great job, with scriptural backing, to show that 'being the best' is God's choice for his creation. This book shows well that dependence on God, at its best, should heighten one's desire for success. After all, as we prosper, within the guidance of God, it reflects well about the Creator
Rating: Summary: Success, Motivation and the Scriptures Review: If ever a book on motivation was written, this is second only to the Bible, Word of God, itself. WOW! This book nails it down and makes it so easy to understand. Just like the Word of God though it only works when one applys it to life. I have recommended this book to friends and my book is making the rounds now. I've used quotes from "Success, Motivation and the Scriptures" in aiding my leading of Bible Study groups. I highly recommend this reading to everyone and I can only pray that it touches your life as it has mine.
