Review: My husband of twenty-six years died in May, and I've been having a very difficult time adjusting. Though my kids tried to get me up and out of the house, nothing has really helped. I felt so alone and helpless without John. A friend gave me Mary Ellen Berry's book, and one day I picked it up. I left the house last week for the first time in months, and I've started picking up with my old friends again. Though I still grieve for John, I'm realizing that I can still have a life and it isn't betraying his memory to enjoy my remaining time. I recommend this book whole-heartedly.
