Review: This small devotional book was written by my son, Michael J. Foster, while he was finishing his degree at Oral Roberts University. Each small segment of the book brims with his creativity and love for God. Michael makes the proverbs come alive with meaning as he shares stories about people and the daily situations we find ourselves in. The wisdom of Proverbs is not beyond our grasp, but as Michael so aptly demonstrates, the widsom of God is available to each of us every day.

What makes this book even more meaningful is that Michael died on April 10, 2003, and the book was published on May 1, 2003. He never saw the final product. Michael died from diabetic complications at the age of 32, leaving a wife, a 3 year old son, and a daughter that he never saw, born May 30, 2003, 50 days after his going home to be with the Lord
