Summary: An Asset...
Review: I do believe that my dear friend and colleage, Dr. James Eckman, has put together a masterpiece fit for study by any student. He provides wonderful insight and commentary built from his years of study and passion invested into history. It would be quite the understatement to say that such literature would be, in least measures, a great asset to the scholar-wannabe.

Also, bear in mind that I am a student of his attending the University in which he wears the title of 'President', so I may be steaming up a little bit of 'hoo-haw' also with my review. Although this may tilt my bias, I very much enjoyed his book and what it provided my own person as far as perspective stretches.
