Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Wonderful Guide to the World of Angels
Review: Both informative and readable, this book is a wonderful guide to the world of angels. It covers the topic from all angels and viewpoints, and is superbly cross-referenced. Great Book!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Lots of information, but where are the illustrations?
Review: Call me crazy, but a few pictures would have made a world of difference in this book. That's the ONLY complaint I have about this easy to read, easy to carry, easy to love book on angel errata.

My boyfriend knows about my freakish obsession with angels, and suggested I buy this. He was actually right for once! I found that this book has tons of information, summarized neatly and cross referenced with different spellings of names (in case you're hung up on one in particular). I liked that the author bolded certain important passages, so you knew just what to look for when skimming.

I also liked that the author included next to the names of the angels the meaning of their names (as in Naamah means 'pleasurable').

The appendix and bibliography actually have a ton of information in there as well (just in case you weren't looking!). Cross referenced are all the mentions of angels from the Bible, Koran, and other religious works, as well as a listing of Renaissance paintings dealing with angels.

Well worth the money.

Summary: A "Dictionary" instead of a good informative book.
Review: I bought this book thinking of it as an informative one. It is a "dictioanary" not an encyclopedia, because the author doesn't explain too much about each angel. It contains a lot of angels including the fallen ones. I found information on this book very different from the information on other books of angels. That's why i am giving it this rate!!!!
