Review: I am so sorry this book is out of stock! Please, publishers, consider publishing his works again. This book is excellant for those studying links between current societal problems and their roots in history. I feel Dawson is without peer in his recognition of the pivotal role Christianity has played in the formation of Western Civilization. This book, in particular, is well integrated in the sociological, cultural, religious and economic realms. It is somewhat less anthropologically oriented. I most highly recommend this book.
