Rating: Summary: Excellent source to FIND GOD in every nook and cranny! Review: As I am reading Sr. Melannie's book and using it for quiet, medatative prayer, I am wondering why she didn't sub-title the book "... Finding God in Every Nook and Cranny," for that is what this book helps me to do. Looking at life through the eyes of this author, it is easy to see God in some of the simplest aspects of our daily lives. Have you ever thought about the traffic noises outside of your window and found God there? Could you find God in the simple act of doing dishes? What about in a blade of grass? These are but a few ideas put forth by Sr. Melannie Svoboda in her latest book. Her suggestions of how to see God in the ordinary, everyday events of our lives is incredibly insightful. If you are seeking God in your life, this book suggests some places where you might find Him. The format -- a quotation, followed by a page of Sr. Melannie's "rummaging" thoughts, followed by one or two simple, thought-provoking questions, followed by a one-line prayer -- leads one step-by-step through a brief meditation that can be very prayerful and lead one to find God. This book can be used by oneself in prayer as well as by groups for prayer and faith sharing.
