Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Fantastic Book for experts
Review: This is a great book. The only problem is that it only give examples and doesn't really tells you how to start drawing them. For giving ideas and learning how to draw it may be useful. BUT IF YOU ARE AN EXPERT this book would really be worth it, you really spend your money in here if you are intrested in drawing fights.

AMATURE or NON-AMATURE this book really, really helps you alot in many ways.! BUY IT!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A great book for the advanced manga drawer
Review: This is by no means a beginners book. You'll want to start with the "Compiling Characters" book to start. By the time you have the basic techniques down, then this book will help. The four star rating is a bit misleading, let me tell you why. The art in the book is great. It does a great job in showing you how to make fight scenes look dynamic. How different styles of hitting are used in comedic and hard-boiled action. But as si the problem with earlier translated versions, sometimes the language comes off as stiff. It reads as if you're listening to a stereotype Japanese speaking "engrish". As a result sometimes the descriptions aren't as good as the should be. Other than that this is another great book to add to your "How to Draw" collection.

Summary: Let's Get Ready To Rumble!
Review: Those are the first words you'll say when you open this spactacular book. Hikaru Hayashi has packed this book full of everything you could ever want in a battle scene. I have drawn battle scenes in my own comics but they never had that edge. Now that I have this book I find myself nolonger nervous of stressed when drawing fight scenes. Fight scenes are an important part to any action comic/manga. This is a must have for any beginner or even a serious amature hopeing to get some pointers. This book will definately help your comics/manga kick a**.
