Rating: Summary: Thank goodness for mnftiu Review: The clip-art stars of David Rees's website have been my favorite refuge from the surreal events of the past year and a half. Can't believe what you just read in the paper? Feel powerless to change it? Get Your War On helps, somehow. No, the book is not beautifully produced, but the money funds landmine relief in Afghanistan. And your purchase supports the work of someone who isn't afraid to say what needs to be said. Besides, nothing has EVER made me laugh so hard.
Rating: Summary: Prepare for bawdy language and biting observations Review: The political satire cartoons comprising David Rees' Get Your War On have become an internet standard, and very popular among an increasing numerous crowd. Prepare for bawdy language and biting observations along with comics which rely on irony and observation as well as political commentary.
Rating: Summary: insightful, funny book Review: This book is pretty sweet. Its just clipart with words attached but it is simultaneously irreverent, intelligent, witty, obscene, and hilarious. It definately has a liberal twang to it but I can't fault it for that, its simply a way of seeing things which is pretty understandable at this time. Most of the comics are about Afghanistan and Iraq and that stuff but there is also a section on the 80s and even a guest appearance by Voltron.

Rating: Summary: Awesome Review: This book, and THE FRENCH and GERMANS, really have it right. This war was a waste of time, money, and American lives.
