Summary: Chock full of very useful formula tips
Review: First, please read the title. This book is about Excel formulas. Please don't buy this book if you are looking for a general guide to Excel. For that purpose, you may want to purchase Mr. Walkenbach's Excel 'Bible'.

That said, this book is incredibly useful. If you know a little bit about Excel, this book will take you very far. If you know a lot about Excel, you will be astounded by some of the things you can do using the proper formulas. This book is chock-full of great tips that will radically improve your spreadsheets. The section on financial formulas is particularly well-written with plenty of real-life examples. I have been using Excel for Windows since version 2 (circa 1988). This is the best Excel book I have ever purchased.

I unreservedly recommend this book to other Excel users.

Summary: Well worth the investment - Buy this book
Review: I won't waste your time repeating what you can read in the summary or other reviews. Simply, this book is worth the money. I have had it for three weeks and already found enough pointers and tricks to pay for the book. I have been using Excel seriously since 1991 and would probably be rated at or near expert level.

If you are experienced at regular Excel use and are ready to move into VBA, John Walkenbach's Excel 2002 Power Programming with VBA is an excellent choice. I would rate it 5 stars also.

Summary: Best Book on Excel Ever Written!
Review: I've read several other books on Excel and this is by far the easiest to follow and the most comprehensive. If you are an intermediate user who's looking to become the Excel guru in your office, then this is definitely the book for you. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to advance their knowledge of Excel. Even for an advanced user, I'm sure this book has some insights that one would find well worth its price.
