Review: This book provides a good introduction to Active Directory for someone who is new to Windows 2000 server. The quality of writing is much better than what's found in most study guides. For the most part, what it covers is covered in a clear and understandable manner, but there are big gaps in what's covered. Also, I found a couple of really big factual errors.

So I'd say, if you are new to Active directory, get this book, and read it quickly once over to get the concepts, but then put it down and find something else to really dig into the details of AD - Something such as the Distributed Systems Guide from the resource kit.

One other thing, the binding on my copy broke and now the book is physically falling apart. And I didn't even use it very heavily.
