Rating: Summary: This a SUPER GOOD book on Excel2000..I like it. LJL Review: "Excel 2000 : The Complete Reference" is an excellent book both as a text to learn and as a reference to use while working on a real world spreadsheet.I was troubled by the use of "Excel geek" and "spreadsheet-land" in the introduction, but fortunatly the authors do not carry this cuteness into the book. It is very well written and the examples are perfect to really help clarify the topic under discussion. I am surprised that Osborne does not seem to list a web site where users can ask questions or report errors. I am confused by the i index on page 572 and by Figure 24-2 on page 573 in my book. But there is no method to follow through on this question........except via an Amazon.com review. Leo J. Landkamer programmer at large

Rating: Summary: Incredibly Useful Review: I knew I'd bought the right book when I read the section on using Excel's Solver feature. This book has the best explanation of this feature I've ever seen, and the best instructions ever written. Explanations and directions for all Excel's features are equally well presented. In fact, this book is beautifully written from beginning to end.
Rating: Summary: Somewhat useful Review: The information is mostly there, but I found the design, presentation, and organization made accessing the information too difficult.
