Bad! Bad! No bisquit for you, Capron.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Aimed at the beginning user.
Review: Not a bad book for the beginning computer user. Goes into many aspects of the computer: hardware, software, databases, WWW, programming, etc. Most of the examples are related to the United States and in Basic. Not a bad book if you're taking a beginning computer course in school, but anything after that, there are definately way better books to be had.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Great for people who never understood the information age
Review: People who want to learn the big picture of the information age without digging to deep with technical details will enjoy this book. The book describes basic concepts of computers and their role in the information age. Plenty of good illustrations and the text is easy to read. Used for intro to computer science classes. However, 3 starts comes from the price vs value of content. Books that are required by schools tend to cost more.

Summary: THERE ARE MANY BETTER BOOKS
Review: SAME OLD REHASH OF EARLIER EDITIONS.
