Review: With this book and no experience I started editing my first DV movie. The book was with me all the way. Importing, Editing, Sound, Titles & Exporting (Even some good info on how to shoot and what cameras to shoot with). When iMovie kept crashing trying to export my movie to the camcorder the book offered tips and tricks that got the job done. When I say I couldn't have done it without ya it's no joke it's the truth.
Make your first experience with iMovie a fun one, buy this book.

Review: WOW! This book not only teaches you how to use iMovie2, it teaches you how to make professional movies! This book far exceeded my expectations. It is by far the best book on the subject. You not only clearly explain all the features, you also give pratical examples on when to use them. I'm glad Apple did not include a manual with iMovie2! Let Apple create great hardware and software, while David Pogue writes the manuals! This book rates a 5+
