Rating: Summary: Brilliant! - I recommend this book. Review: ... The word professional in the title seems to scare some people off but that is just the series name. This book is clear consise and to the point. It supports you all the way through each section. It goes over items in the recap areas to make sure you have not missed the main points. The book is consistant throughout and I feel I know exactly where to look for the information I want and each step is explained.
Rating: Summary: Smashing!! Review: I bought this book as soon as it came out. It is as excellent as I was expecting it to be. More a `Newbie" myself, the word "Professional" intimidated me, but I was familiar with Tiffany's clear and simple Tutorials on her web site which have always been a huge help to me.Anyone can benefit from this book, beginner to professional. This book is clear, concise, and thorough. It provides handy tips and techniques and makes creating and managing databases and cascading style sheets very clear and understandable. Logically laid out, Tiffany's book is a great lesson plan and a terrific reference book.
Rating: Summary: Book not worth reading Review: I bought this book based on its 5 stars ratings. I was hoping that this book would guide me build website taking me step by step. On page 26, the author gives you this false hope. After that the author just explains various features of the Front page and forgets completely about your website in progress. I picked up this book four times hoping to dig out the mysterious instruction related to this promised website. I failed every time. I ended up just getting rid of this book as I could not stand it any more.
Rating: Summary: For the newby, not the professional Review: I spent two weeks and learned Front Page 2000 and 2002. I got this book from the Library thinking that this would be an advanced book for Front Page Users. Opps, sorry, I was fooled. It was a good reference book. But things like Keyword and getting on search engines you left you wanting. But it certainly did solve my issue with forms and how to set it up and send it to an email address. I am now in the website business with Front Page. I am still looking for the book for Web Professionals.

Rating: Summary: All round very good value. Review: This is quite a pithy focused text on Frontpage. Unusually useful(despite the editorial review cited above of course you won't learn all those scripting languages mentioned). The book quickly cuts through a lot of Frontpage flannel in order to expose the best aspects of the application. Topics are presented briskly and intelligently. Personally, I was surprised at how much I got out of it. I was really reluctant to loan it to one of my postgrads which is the usual indicator of whether I truly value a book or not.
Rating: Summary: Book not worth reading Review: This is, simply, the favorite FrontPage book for Web professionals at Colligan.com. There is no better product out there. Ms. Edmonds is the pro we all want to be and her book shows us how to do just that.
