Summary: You will be designing webs in two days.....
Review: Step by Step is exactly the correct title. This book is great for the person who buys software and wants to start using it right away without having to read a 4000 page novel. I was able to cover 6 lessons in two days (approximately 10 hours). To move this quickly, you should have a good foundation of Windows. Once you have completed all 10 lessons, then you can move on to the advanced books. This book covers planning, hyperlinks, adding style, tables, sound, images and video, creating forms, using frames and finally publishing and managing the web after it is published. Excellent.

Summary: Great Program, Vice Versa on the book
Review: This book can only be reccommended to people that have never used a computer before. Step By Step will tell you how to make a fake site. That's great, except if you're trying to make a real site, this book is useless. It's worse than useless if you're trying to use it at a refrence. I highly reccomend Running FrontPage 2000 by Jim Buyens, as it covers much more of the program including DHTML, Script Editor, and Image Composer, which isn't mentioned in this book.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Excellent for beginners, but 2 superficial
Review: This book is probably the best book you can buy if are new to web authorng and FP. I learned everything in this book in 4 days, and I now feel I need a more comprehensive book in order to use advance features such as script editor and database integration. If you are a beginner BUY IT NOW, but remember you will soon need another book in order to master FP techniques.

Summary: An Excellent Introduction
Review: This is a very helpful introduction to Frontpage 2000. I completed most of it in about a week and continue to return to it as a reference. Working through the exercises on the accompanying CD-ROM gives the reader a good initial orientation to FP 2000 and a sense of what you can do with the product.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful intro to FrontPage 2000
Review: When reviewed in the context in which this book was written, as an introduction for those who have no web-development or FP2000 experience, this book delivers. I had no experience prior to opening this book. When I completed this book, I felt I had a good introduction and was left with a desire to pursue the subject further. This book does not pretend to be a reference for experienced users, but to walk new users (hence the "Step-by-Step" name) through an introduction. Mission accomplished!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great book for beginners.
Review: You will want to try this if you are new to the program
