Summary: A good intro to Notes
Review: In contrast to the other reviewer's comments, I thought this book was helpful. I have extensive experience with other database and e-mail programs, but none with Notes. I read this book prior to using Notes for the first time, and found it to be quite helpful. No, it doesn't cover some elementary things (how to create a signature), and yes, we could do without the poor attempts at humor. But as far as a quick intro to Notes goes, I think this fits the bill. You won't be an expert after reading the book, but you will be able to use Notes without having to stumble around. My other comment is that parts of the book are skimmable - it's not necessary to read the entire book to learn how to send e-mail or use your calendar.

Summary: Does not live up to Dummies expectations
Review: This is easily the worst Dummies book I have ever purchased. It is only for the most novice user who has no experience in other email or PIM programs. It is too elementary, coverage is too skimpy and the poor index makes it nearly worthless as a reference book. A good example of this book's failings is its lack of discussion on how to create an internet type signature for your email messages. The authors spend far too much time trying to be cute with humor, effort which would have been better spent making a decent reference. Pass this one by.
