Java 2 by Example (2nd Edition)

Summary: Solid book
Review: Solidly written book, but what I find annoying is that you have to download the source code for the examples off the website (not printed in the book, nor is a disk given). Apart from that I would've liked a section on network programming (sockets etc). Otherwise, it's an adequate introduction to Java.
