Summary: Concise and to the point
Review: I bought copies for all of our administrators. We found it useful for both the beginner and more advanced Admin - it's a quick, easy reference for everyday use. Great for checking the syntax of those commands you use infrequently--a real time saver! Comprehensive with just the right amount of detail.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Positively Impressed
Review: I was very much impressed by the quality and quantity of information I found in this book. I'm even more dizzied by the talent of those writers who can compile over 1500 pages in an organized and clear method. Bravo !!!

Summary: Not bad, but could be better:
Review: Isn't a handbook supposed to have more samples and exercises? I wish this book would be a guide to practical hand-on experience more than an accumulation of short explanation that I could have gotten a better one in other books of references. Nonetheless, the book isn't bad for a beginner, who could use this book first, and then venture into more advanced books.

Review: This book is generaly written in a good way and easy to understand. But there are some chapters I wish them to be more detailed.

Summary: Great guide for quick reference
Review: This is a very handy book for all Novell admins to keep in their top desk drawer. As a quick reference to many things Netware-related, this is a terrific resource.

Summary: Not bad, but could be better:
Review: While this book delivers on it's promise to be a "Quick Reference Guide" for the Network administrator, it just does not provide enough information for an experienced NetWare admin. Instead, consider "Novell's Complete Guide to NetWare 5 Networks" You will find all of the information contained in the Administrator's Handbook in this volume, except it goes a bit deeper into the technical aspects of NetWare networks.
