Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Step-by step
Review: This book gives an overview of each process, then takes each step clearly teaching how to aproach the projects. I found it very helpful in learning how to orient your thoughts in design and drafting. Looking forward to more texts.

Summary: Ok book
Review: This book is ok, however, there is no index in the back to look up what commands are and how to implement commands. You have to flip thru the pages until you find what you are looking for. I have recently switched from AutoCAD to SolidWorks and expected something more in depth than what I got. The book is basically a project based book that steps you thru building parts/assemblies. The book does help you learn how to build parts/assmeblies, and is much better than the manual that comes with SolidWorks. Unfortunately, it still lacks a good bit of information along with a index that would help out a great deal.

Summary: terrific book
Review: This is a terrific book using part and assembly creation in a project situation. The book provides a very useful step-by-step procedure. It is very easy to follow and to understand.

I took a one-week SolidWorks course. I learned more from this book, than the $3,000 course. This is the only book that I have been able to obtain which provides information on Injection Molded Design using SolidWorks. There are good exercises in the back of each chapter.
