Review: This has little to do with the book, but with the ethics of Prof. Nick Bambos, who gives it rave reviews: his thesis advisor was Jean Walrand, as a google search shows easily. So a disclosure ("the guy signed my dissertation, I owe him a big one") would be the least to expect.
