Rating: Summary: A Very Good Reference for Functions Review: A very good reference with lots of examples. Each example has the corresponding formula that's also in the workbooks on the CD. Another good reference by QUE. I have to agree with the review that states "we need more books like this with examples followed up on the CD." And, how about making the charting reference on the CD into a book? I could really use one of those too.

Rating: Summary: Great Practical Reference to Functions! Review: I've been waiting for this book to come out since I've purchased the Special Edition Excel Book. A great straight forward reference. What I like best is that all the workbooks are live on the CD. Finally, someone's including the examples ; )
Rating: Summary: Why bother Review: If you like books that have errors, incomplete sentences, mispelllings, poor diagrams, and poor descriptions then this is the one for you. There's nothing about Excel functions in the book that cann't be obtained in a clearer manner on the web or found in Excel's Help.
Rating: Summary: Why bother Review: In general terms it is a good book with lots of examples. Be careful however as there are a few errors. The one on page 71 fig.4.6 can waste a lot of time. We really need more books like this with expanded examples. Some areas are well covered others are very shallow.

Rating: Summary: A practical reference to Excel's functions Review: The goal was to provide a visual display of functions in use. Most functions are accompanied by a screen shot of the function in practice. A great enhancement to my other book - "Special Edition Using Microsoft Excel 2000". Learn to: *-Create Cascading Schedules *-Transpose Tables With Formulas *-Measure Channel Velocity *-Build Custom Functions *-Manage Resource Pools *-Create Automated Cash Flows *-Build Schedules *-Use Functions To Solve Problems A great source for understanding all the functions in Excel. Also included on the CD is a copy of my electronic book - "Creating Charts in Excel" - The only reference of it's kind for creating professional charts of all types.
Rating: Summary: Cool plug and play workbooks. Review: This is a book we had around the office so I picked it up and started using it... A good book... All the material is also downloadable from the Cd so it's well worth the time in spreadsheet creation alone with plug and play models... I would have to recommend this one..
