LPI General Linux II Exam Cram (Exam: 102)

Review: This exam prep is very much like the rest of this Exam Cram series... a noble attempt at helping people pass an exam; unfortunately it turns out to be an exercise in how NOT to write a book.

Typos are rampant, errors in syntax and command lines abound, and large sections of the LPI objectives for 102 are missing.

This book will NOT aid you in your LPI testing, but it should be owned by anyone planning to write a technical exam prep, as a great example on how NOT to do it....

Review: This was the first LPI 102 book out, and it shows. I took and failed the exam based on just this book and the online cramsession.

The 102 exam will probably require much more studying than the 101 exam. I could almost pass the 101 exam without studying.

If you are going to buy one LPI certification book, I recommend the Nutshell book. This book may be worth purchasing, as it is concise and its contents can be mastered fairly easily. It is also fairly cheap.
