Summary: This book is terrible
Review: The author is incapable of using examples. The writing is done in self referential statements that assume that you already know how to write in JavaScript. It is impossible to learn Java with this book.

Summary: Terrible ! ! ! !
Review: This is the MOST boring book I have ever tried to learn from! Every time I pick it up I start falling asleep. If anyone really wants to learn I would recomend the "Sam's 21 days" series. I have bought books on Perl and C++ from Sam's and have enjoyed both.

Summary: Javascript : Introductory
Review: This text is designed for the novice programmer, thus reinforcing the student's fundamental concepts of programming. Using JavaScript® as the scripting language for Web page interactivity provides the student with an easy transition from their introductory programming language, Java™, this would be a recommended text.
