Summary: DreamWeaver 2
Review: I think that all people who bought the previous Dreamweaver Bible should get an up-grade price on the new version, if you have the 2 book, although the new stuff in 3 is essential to know, and covered here like nowhere else, there is too much reprint of the older book. If you donot have Dreamweaver 2 Bible, then give this book 5 stars, well done book. Nobody covers the customization features built into the program like this, excellent

Summary: Great introduction to web content creation...
Review: My friend had urged me to try and learn how to use "Dreamweaver" because he said it was powerful... The program itself is intimidating at first - all the panes and windows that open up after starting the program can be daunting. After finishing all the lessons included with the Dreamweaver program, I still had questions about how to use this software to its fullest... This is where the DW3 Bible came into play... Though it's hardly a book you'll want to read cover to cover, I have found it immensely helpful when trying to accomplish specific content creation tasks. Dreamweaver is an awesome web-building program, and this book is a very good compliment to it. Don't expect the book to teach you every thing about Dreamweaver; it will take effort on your behalf to learn how to use this program. DO pick up the book if you want to get a trial version of Dreamweaver (Fireworks is included too!) and a great how-to guide for when you get stumped using it.

Summary: Dreamweaver Basics
Review: This book was a disappointment in that I expected it to cover more advanced issues and applications of the software. Instead, it merely covers the absolute basics of HTML, setting preferences, etcetera-toooo simple. I already have books on HTML and every other web component and didn't need a review of the absolute basics. I wanted an in depth Dreamweaver"Bible" and this is not what this book is. Sure there are a few tips here and there-things you may not have known-but to call this one a bible is a stretch of the truth.

Summary: It is a really great book for both beginners and pros!
Review: This has been indeed been a great book! Its instructions were clear and sufficient as well as covering all the important possibilities ad variants. Each time I had a question in my head, I can be sure to find a paragraph that seems to address my question directly! What I also liked was the writing style, there were none too many "corny" jokes or "trying too hard to be funny" kind of prose and it got to the point in a straight and gentle manner. In fact, as a result of this book, I decided that I will only buy the "Bible" series of books!!! Which, I unfortunately found out, were not as good as Lowery's work. The Dreamweaver 3 Bible is a prize today because of Lowery's true deep understanding of his material! This book allowed me to learn the basic stuff at an advanced level (things I already thought I knew all about but....) as well as learn new advanced stuff! What I liked most about the CD that came with it was the pdf version of the book! Now I can carry the book with me in my laptop without having to lug the book around. That means when I am the move, I can still learn Dreamweaver or use it as a reference - thanks!
