Review: I am studying this book as part of a telecom course. It is very poorly orgainzed and written. If you are attemting to learn ISDN look elsewhere. Many of the diagrams are confusing and could have been made much clearer. The author uses many acronyms many of which are poorly defined in the back of the book. The first chapter "where isdn came from" mostly contains data that has nothing to do with the chapter title.
While there is useful data in the book, it is presented in such a confused manner the reader is left with the problem of figuring out what the author is attempting to communicate rather than just being able to absorb a clear concept.
If you want a clear understanding of isdn, look elsewhere.
