Rating: Summary: Easy to Follow Instructions Review: I found this book easy to follow and very comprehensive for a beginner as well as an itermediate user of Publisher. It is a great refresher course if you haven't used Publisher in a while. Next step, Publisher by Design.
Rating: Summary: Step by Step...Yup! Review: My wife found this Step by Step to be the most helpful book she has ever used. She is new to Publisher, and this book carried her through without a glitch. I on the other hand, an experienced user of Publisher, will be checking out "By Design"Good job on the book! I will recommend to all new users of Publisher!
Rating: Summary: Very superficial, skips many key points. Review: The book is well suited for the novice user of Publisher. It is very superficial and does not even address rulers, foreground and background setup. It is definitely not worth the investment.
Rating: Summary: Audience for this book Review: This book, like all Step by Step books, is meant to provide hands-on guidance for new users of a Microsoft application--Publisher 2000, in this case. It is not meant to be an exhaustive reference. There are other books available that serve this role. If you want to work through the creation of several publications using real-world examples and exercise files, you'll probably find this book helpful.
