Summary: Not enough to get certified
Review: I read the book, and I did understand it. I took all the practice tests until I was getting at least 95% (some of the answers to the practice tests are wrong, which does not help), used the flashcards, and still failed the exam. (Technically I passed the first part, failed the second, and failed overall.)

The book is okay for the basic stuff, but it doesn't have enough for the Advanced section. The authors might want to do an updated edition of this book -- and sombody should double-check the practice exam answers.

Summary: Terrible book to get certified!
Review: If you are looking to pass the CIW Server Administrator Exam I strongly suggest you look for other book, this book is thick in terminology and concepts, the subjects are explained in a very confusing manner and with a lingo highly technical, furthermore to confuse you even more utilizes terminology interchangably, it explains things before you even know the basics, the author assumes that you know all this?????? it was so confusing and difficult that after I read the whole from cover to cover I had to buy another book just to understand what this book was talking about, without any surprises I failed the test, in fact, I knew I was going to fail the test with such book, is my feeling that the author is trying to show his knowledge rather than to write a comphrehensive book, easy to read and fun to learn, since I can't ask for my time and my money back, please reconsider buying this book, instead, look for other titles I strongly suggest Networking for Dummies, it's a great start and will give you the foundation and explantion that Stanger's book failed to deliver.
