Summary: THE Guide for programming the Cybiko
Review: Although I am an accomplished Cybiko programmer, I still had something to learn from Ernest Pazera's new book "Game Programmer's Guide to Cybiko." Ernest fills in the gaps left by Cybiko's own SDK documentation in a conversational and informative style all his own.

You'll find important information on which functions to use, and which to avoid. While not for the absolute beginner, the Guide gives a number of frameworks from which to begin. Ernest covers all aspects of the SDK, from graphics to sound to messaging and even threaded programming. This is easily the most comprehensive dissection of the Cybiko SDK available. Unlike some treatises on programming for other operating systems, The Guide is more than a mere reproduction of the SDK Help file. There are real examples with relevance to different programming tasks.

The accompanying CD is filled with examples to compliment the book as well as library extensions to the Cybiko SDK that any programmer will find useful.

Whether you're creating a game or something more serious, Ernest's Pazera's Guide is a must-have resource for programming the Cybiko.

Summary: Don't bother with cybiko
Review: The company is now defunct and the technology, too. The toy is no longer sold or supported.
