Rating: Summary: All BUYERS READ BEFORE PURCHASING Review: If you intend to use this book in school, buy it NEW. The License key that gives you access to the website for the class assigned tests is not transferrable or renewable. You cannot buy the license separately. I know, I bought this used for class and had to buy a new one even after calling Prentice Hall. They told me that they sell keys separately on some of their books, but not all of them. Also, if you still are buying it used, make sure it contains the 3 CDs that you will need.
Overall, it's a very very basic book for someone who has little Microsoft exposure or is not computer literate. The office examples are thorough, but give only the basics. I'd give this book to my grandfather who doesn't like computers, or to a friend who is a Mac user.
Rating: Summary: Not good. Review: It's a first edition, and it shows. Full of errors, typos. Good first attempt, but not ready for prime time.
