Review: Victoria has done it again! This is a great book . LANs...is a great book for those who want to understand networking from the ground up. The first chapter assumes some knowledge of Basic Data Comm but, you can skip it and still understand the rest of the book. The book is laid out to take students from standards to basic infrastructure to advanced networking. This book launches the reader into other books in the series for detailed explanations of technical topics - it does not overwhelm the reader. I plan to use it as the textbook for my Internetworking Fundamentals class. Check it out!
