Rating: Summary: Read before buying as USED TEXTBOOK Review: Ok. First thing first, THIS BOOK REQUIRES A LIC. KEY WHICH (at this time) IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE SEPARATELY. I know, I called Prentice Hall, and while they sell Lic. keys for some of their other books, they don't for this book.
You will not be able to log on to the website to take the tests. Lic. keys are not renewable, so if you have a used textbook, the lic. key won't work!
I made the mistake of buying this book used and ended up having to spend more money buying the new textbook. If you do buy this book used (for personal use, I guess) make sure it has the 3-cds which are supposed to come with the book. The vendor did not mention or include the 3 Cds.
Rating: Summary: Finally - an Excellent Microsoft Office Text Review: I am a college professor who has taught for more than 15 years. When the GO Series arrived on my desk I was thrilled. Well written, error free and written for my students. You can tell the publisher spent years working on this text and I my college has switched to this text for our upcoming semester. Thank you Prentice Hall!
Rating: Summary: Excellent Text Review: I am a student who is using this book this term. It is fantastic. I am learning the skills needed for my job and find it very easy to follow. I am hoping in my advanced Excel course they use the same text.
Rating: Summary: Missing screens, typos... it's a first edition! Review: Why anyone would use a book like this in a first edition when so many other books are on the market that are *not* first editions is beyond me. It is riddled with typos and mistakes, and misses many key screens. I found the examples hard to follow, and the end of chapter material, while voluminous, is very superficial. This is not a very good book, even though it may appear to be at first glance.
