Summary: Informative but outdated
Review: If you need to build a old fashion Linux Server with UUCP, I think it is a great book for you. But if you need to build a web server, Samba or firewall, try to get another one.

Review: Its actually being rewritten at the moment I believe. But the rewrite has been going on for at least a year that i know of so far. Guess should be out in the not too distant future

Review: This book is denseley packed with essential information. Although it needs to be updated, I give it a high rating because as far I know, there's no other book that focuses on this subject. There are sections that I'll never use, such as "UUCP", but the overall authoritativeness of the volume leads me to believe that those sections are critical to other people in different situations!
