Rating: Summary: Well laid out and informative. The MS Office Object Bible. Review: A great reference book. I can resolve most of my VB Office Object issues by thumbing through the Table of Contents and finding the appropriate topic matter page. The book is truly easy to read, yet informative.

Rating: Summary: When I thought it was impossible,..... I thought wrong! Review: An excellent book. I used it primarily for my Word Application that automatically creates a report from existing Access97 Database. What could not be accomplished using MailMerge had to be done using DAO and this book was definitely a gem. I doubt I could have completed my task without this book. It should be on the bookshelf of every VBA programmer!
Rating: Summary: A Great Reference For VBA Review: Buy this book only if you're really into frustration and time wasting. The examples are often incomplete and don't work as shown without some other setup. The charts of each applications objects would be useful, if they contained more than the objects names. A complete UIM model of each applications exposed programming interface would help greatly. The book contains mostly the same text and examples as in the on-line help files. Don't waste any money on this book, the on-line help is easier to use.
Rating: Summary: Lacking in any substance or merit Review: I bought this book looking for a guide to various office objects, methods, etc. I found this book to have no real substance. It does an inadequate job of explaining what objects are out there, how to use them, and what they are for. I was primarily looking for Excel references, but have since found this book to be useless for Outlook and Access as well. Not being new to VB, VBA, or VBScript, I find this book good neither for beginners OR advanced users.

Rating: Summary: Great help in getting up to speed on VBA quickly! Review: The book was an excellent source of information on VBA, and VB for the Office apps not yet supporting VBA. If you're looking to build quick intergrated solutions based on Office97 this is a great resource. It definitely helped me out in creating a number of solutions for our organization.
