Digital Logic and State Machine Design

Summary: Greet book, but with the 50's style
Review: Comer did a great job with this book. It takes you from the basic concpets to challenging state machine disgns. The only problem with this book, you get board after two pages. 1)It is white papers with balck ink only. 2)The author tries to make the book as compact as possible, so he left behind many digrams in state machine sections that I think they are importent in order to understand the examples and he was satisfied by explaning the problems in words only. If you are a patient guy like me (sometimes you need to read the explanition and examples several times), you gonna need no other books. The "references and suggested reading" in the end of each chapter is so helpful, and I like the way he list it behind each chapter so you know what the focus is for these books without bothering to check them out yourself.

Hopfully, there is gonna be a fourth edition, with more colors and more digrams. Maybe some troubleshoting technicques too.

I would give this book 4.5 but since there are no .5, I am gonna say 4!
