Rating: Summary: a good preparation for the exam! Review: a relatively small book in size, but BIG in content...I used only this book to prepare for the COMPTIA Network+ certification; passed with 91% I think since David Groth was involved in the making of Network+ exam, he definitely knows what needs to be emphasised in studying for the exam!i'd say it's a great book. but i wonder, the last 25% of the book seems to be written in a rush (just like the i-Net+ study guide by the same author? ) - is this the way the author organises his books? cheers

Rating: Summary: quick brush up on material Review: Because, the authors of Network+ exam notes also helped develop the Network+ test the material needed to pass the test is in this book. However, this book must be read with the Network+ study guide, also written by David Groth et. al. Pay very close attention to the study questions in the exam note book and study guide book and you will have no problem passing. I passed on my first attempt with 91%, by studying the above mentioned books and going over the study questions

Rating: Summary: Good to brush up with Review: I primarily used this book to take the practice tests, only reading the content to review if I was not 100% sure on a certain question. I was able to gather more than enough information to brush through the Network+ exam. This was a good refresher and well worth the cost for the confidence gained by reviewing practice questions and scenarios.

Rating: Summary: Not Enough By Itself Review: This is an ok supplement to the Sybex Study Guide, but by itself it isn't nearly enough to ace the exam. It also contains several errors which could have easily been avoided. The information is technically correct, but some of the answers are skipped, which one would presume, would rather defeat the purpose of getting this book in the first place. Basically, if you heve the Study Guide, you don't really need this.
